Cape Blanco State Park Campground Oregon

Cape Blanco State Park Overview

Cape Blanco State Park 029

Cape Blanco State Park Campground has 64 campsites (52 with water/electric) perched above the Pacific Ocean on Oregon’s westernmost tip. There are also 4 cabins and 8 equestrian sites.  The campground has drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers ($). There is no dump station. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground. Hiker/biker, group camping and equestrian sites are also available.

Blanco State Park is also home to the historic Cape Blanco lighthouse. It is the oldest standing lighthouse on the Oregon coast. It’s also home to the historic Hughes House. Tours at the lighthouse and Hughes house are available from April through October.  Due to the windy conditions (with gusts clocked at speeds as high as 184 mph),  Cape Blanco is extremely popular with the windsurfers. The park has over 8 miles of trails with many spectacular ocean vistas, woodland and wetland settings.

Bullards Beach State Park is to the north and Humbug Mountain State Park is to the south.
