Clackamas Lake Campground has 49 campsites in a heavily wooded forest of tall pines trees and close to the small 3-acre lake.  Some campsites have partial views of Mt. Hood in the distance. Eleven (11) of the campsites are equestrian sites.  Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs, Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Clackamas Lake Area Recreation

The campground is located in the Clackamas Lake Historic District in Mt. Hood National Forest.  It offers some nice hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails. Other recreation includes canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing in the lake. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking and exploring the historic sites in the area.  Wildlife viewing is also nice here. Timothy Lake is also just 3 miles away and offers additional water recreation.

Other campgrounds in the area include Oak Fork, Gone Creek and Hoodview. All of these are up by Timothy lake.
