Clark Creek Organization Camp was originally constructed during the 1930s by the Civilian Conversation Corps and U.S. Forest Service. The group camp has 5 bunkhouses each with 8 platform sleeping bunks.
The historic camp also has an amphitheater, cooking/dining shelter and chapel. Clark Creek flows between the sleeping shelters and day use area. Up to 80 guests can use the overnight facilities and up to 125 can use the day use area. Amenities include campfire circles, a picnic shelter, drinking water (hand pump) and vault toilets. Baseball fields, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are also available. Cell service is not available at the camp.
Other campgrounds in the area include Bedrock, Puma, Broken Bowl, Dolly Varden, Big Pool (1 group site) and Ivan Oakes.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.
