Cobble Rock Campground has 15 first-come first-serve campsites located along the beautiful Lower Crooked River. The BLM managed campground is open year-round; reservations not accepted.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Sites #2 and #9 are walk to (60 and 90 feet respectively). Each site has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

Amenities include vault toilets and trash receptacles. Potable water is available year-round at nearby Chimney Rock Campground. Cell service is not available in the area. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host.

Cobble Rock Campground is one of several BLM campgrounds along the Crooked Wild and Scenic River. You might also like Stillwater, Lone Pine, Palisades, Chimney Rock, Big Bend, Post Pile, Poison Butte or Castle Rock campgrounds.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The Prineville Reservoir is also nearby and is a popular area for boating, water sports and fishing.
