Cold Water Cove Campground has 34 campsites and offers spectacular views of the turquoise-colored Clear Lake and 3000-year old lava fields. No campsites are directly on the shoreline, but several offer views of the lake.
The campground sits on the south end of Clear Lake in a mix of maple, alder and Douglas fir trees. On a clear day, catch a glimpse of the Three Sisters Mountains and Mt. Washington. There are 34 campsites (31 single, 3 multiple). Sites #7 and #10 are accessible. Each site is equipped with a parking spur (ranging from 18 to 50 feet), picnic table and campfire ring. No hookups are available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. A boat launch is also close to the campground. Cell service is not available.

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, row boating (power not allowed), hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail also passes through the campground and runs along Clear Lake. The trail stretches 26 miles and is open to hikers and mountain bikers.
