Driftwood – Deschutes Overview

Driftwood Campground has 18 campsites along Forest Road 900 and next to Three Creek Lake  in the Deschutes National Forest. All campsites have direct access to the lake.

Campsites can accommodate tents and camper vans. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a primitive boat ramp on the east shore (paddle boats only – no motors). A small store also rents boats near the ramp. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Three Creeks Lake and Three Creeks Meadow.

Driftwood Campground – Area Recreation

The 28-acre lake is surrounded by old growth forest, and is easy to fish from shore. Motorboats are not allowed on the lake but you can kayak, canoe or paddle-board. Other popular activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
