Eightmile campground (aka Upper Eightmile) is in a beautiful and secluded area with 19 large campsites set along a creek in the Mt. Hood National Forest. A dense forest of conifers provide ample shade and relief from war summer days.
The campground is first-come, first-serve. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (maximum RV/trailer size is 30 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include vault toilets, but no potable water.

The campground is near the 44 Trail System which is a popular multi-use trail for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Other activities in the area include fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
