Emigrant Springs State Park sits near the top of the Blue Mountains in an old-growth forest and has 58 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. There are 18 sites with full hookups, 1 electric site with water, 32 standard and also 7 equestrian campsites. Six rustic cabins are also available for rent.

The campground has drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers($). There is not a dump station, but you can find one 7 miles west of Deadman’s Pass Rest Area. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. The Park also has a full-size basketball court, baseball field, horseshoe pits and amphitheater.

Emigrant Springs State Park Area Recreation

The area offers great opportunities to enjoy nature, picnic, backpack, hike, mountain bike and ride horses.  It’s also a great basecamp to explore historic sites along the Oregon Trail.

You may also like Wallowa Lake State Park. It’s about 104 miles away.
