Fort Stevens State Park Campground has 485 campsites and is located at the mouth of the Columbia River in the very northwest corner of Oregon. The campground has 174 full hook-up, 302 electric only 6 tent, 11 cabins and 15 yurt sites. Nine hiker/biker campsites are also available.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, an RV dump station and bike rentals. There’s also a playground and amphitheater. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is poor at best in the area.

Fort Stevens State Park Area Recreation

The main attraction is the historic Fort Stevens and touring the historic sites throughout the 4,300 acre park. For Stevens was in service during the Civil War through WWII. The park also has 9 miles of paved bike trails and 6 miles of hiking trails through a variety of habitats. Other outdoor activities include beach-combing, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Coffenbury Lake also has 2 swim areas, a picnic area and boat ramp.

Cape Disappointment State Park is located across the Columbia River in Washington.  Nehalem Bay State Park is about 37 miles south along the Oregon Coast.

    We always have the best time at Ft. Stevens we took our 6 yr. old grandson with us he caught a 12 in trout and a big catfish on his first trip loved the trails and clean sites and Jr.
    Ranger programs. We live in Seaside and go Alll the way to Ft. Stevens for our summer fun. The Potters
