L.L. Stub Stewart campground has 90 single-family campsites, 15 cabins and 15 equestrian campsites set among rolling hills about 34 miles west of Portland.  The campground has two camping loops (Diary Creek Camp West and Dairy Creek Camp East), as well as the equestrian loop. Campers have access to numerous mixed-use trails, streams and forests.

There are 78 campsites with full hookups and 12 walk-to campsites in the main campground. The equestrian sites also have full hookups. The Brooke Creek hike-in camp also has 23 primitive campsites (sites 10-23 reservable) with vault tiles and drinking water.The campground is open year-round and has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), a playground, reservable meeting hall and visitor center. All sites are paved and some have nice shade. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Ice and firewood are also available for sale from the camp host.

L.L. Stub Stewart – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation activities include picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf and wildlife viewing.

  1. It is very difficult (impossible?) to find the process and any charges for canceling a reservation. I’ve been searching the web site for a while and still haven’t found it.
