My family and I normally camp on the other side of the lake, just curious is it always so windy at Little Fawn campground and beach?
Hi Wendy,
A good question! We’re not super familiar with the wind/weather patterns at Little Fawn campground, but based on typology of the area it appears a little less protected and wind speed may pick up there as opposed to other areas around he lake.
Love Little Fawn. Have never found it overly windy (in answer to a question above). It’s a stunning campsite with plenty of spots, and also a group site. Plenty of parking, but limited toilets that get a little ‘ripe’ in the summer. Gorgeous, sandy beach with boat ramp and pristine, clear blue water. Awesome campground.
