Little Lava Lake Overview

Little Lava Lake campground offers campers some of the best scenery in central Oregon and is located right on the lakeshore. The campground has 16 campsites and most have beautiful views of the lake.  Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate. There are no hookups here. The campground also has drinking water flush toilets and firewood for sale from the camp host. One group campsite is also available. Cell service is fair.

Little Lava Lake Area Recreation

Little Lava Lake has some great fishing and there is a boat ramp near the campground. Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. It’s also a great basecamp to take a drive along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway (Oregon’s “Highway in the Sky”).

Lava Lake campground is another beautiful campground you may also want to check out. It has 44 campsites and the campground is on the shore of the lake.
