Lone Pine Campground has 7 campsites right next to the Lower Crooked River and across from the vertical rimrock cliffs of Rocky Canyon.  Sites 1-6 are single-family and site #7 is a group site (up to 15 people). The campground is open year-round and campsites are first-come, first-serve. Reservations are not accepted at this BLM managed campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur (up to 40 feet), a table, fire ring and grill.

Amenities include vault toilets and trash receptacles. Potable water is available year-round at nearby Chimney Rock Campground. Cell service is not available in the area.

Lone Pine Campground is one of several BLM campgrounds along the Crooked Wild and Scenic River. You might also like Stillwater, Cobble Rock, Palisades, Chimney Rock, Big Bend, Post Pile, Poison Butte or Castle Rock campgrounds.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The Prineville Reservoir is also nearby and is a popular area for boating, water sports and fishing.
