Lower Canyon Creek Campground offers 5 (large) single-family campsites and is at the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Metolius River in the Deschutes National Forest. The campground is open year-round with reservations accepted mid May to late September.

Campsites are large and can accommodate tents, trailers or RVs (up to 40′). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Drinking water is not available. Cell service is fair in the area.

Lower Canyon Creek Campground – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Allen Springs, Allingham, Camp Sherman, Smiling River, Riverside, Jack Creek, Pine Rest and Gorge.
