Marion Forks Campground has 15 campsites set in a beautiful old growth forest next to the Marion Forks Fish Hatchery and Marion Creek. All campsites are first-come, first-serve. The well-maintained campground is generally open year round (weather permitting).
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite has a parking spur (ranging in size from 20 to 35 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include vault toilets (3) and trash receptacles. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is poor in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Marion Forks Fish Hatchery offers a large pond where visitors can feed adult rainbow trout. See spawning Chinook salmon in Horn Creek (Marion Forks) from late August through September. Conifer forest provides good viewing for deer, elk, grouse, American dipper, belted kingfisher, osprey, bald eagle, blue heron and waterfowl seasonally.
Riverside at Detroit Campground and Whispering Falls Campground are also nearby.
