Monty Campground has 12 single-family campsites and is located on the banks of the lower Metolius River and just above lake Billy Chinnok.

Campsites are spacious but best suited for tents. Trailers and RVs are not recommended. Access roads can be very rough. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There isn’t any water at the campground, but there is a vault toilet.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, boating and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.
