Perry South Campground has 55 campsites and is located next to the Metolius Arm of Lake Billy Chinook. This is a popular campground and a great place to fish for trophy bull trout. The campground has a lower loop (sites 1-40) which is closer to the lake, and an upper loop (sites 43-63).
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). There’s also a few double sites, a tent-only camping area (sites 19 to 24), and some first-come, first-serve sites available. Campsites 22, 28 and 30 are walk t0 (ranging from 10 to 40 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include driving water, vault toilets, a day-use area and boat ramp. Roads are paved with gravel parking spurs. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, water sports, hunting, OHVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
You might also like Cove Palisades State Park. Monty Campground is also nearby and has 12 campsites for tent camping.
