Pine Rest Overview

Pine Rest Campground has 7 single-family campsites set among Ponderosa Pines and is next to the upper Metolius River in the Deschuters National Forest.  The campground is open year-round with reservations accepted mid May to Mid September.

Campsites are fairly small and suitable for only tent camping. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Drinking water is not available.  The Camp Sherman Store is about 2 miles to the south if you need any supplies. Cell service is not available.

Pine Rest Campground – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Allen Springs, Allingham, Camp Sherman, Lower Canyon Creek, Riverside, Smiling River, Jack Creek and Gorge.
