Pioneer Ford is another of the beautiful campgrounds along the Metolius River and has 20 campsites in a wooded setting. Campsites 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16 and 17 are riverfront.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the area. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Parking spurs range from 26 to 40 feet. Sites 8 and 9 are tent only.  Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Other campgrounds in the area include Lower Bridge, Allen Springs, Candle Creek, Smiling River, Allingham and Lower Canyon Creek.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
