Pringle Falls Campground has 7 single-family campsites surrounded by the Deschutes River just north of a reserved section of woodland that has been set aside as an experimental forest.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 30 feet). Campground roads and parking spurs are gravel. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Hookups are not available. Up to 1 vehicle and 6 people per site. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is poor in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, mountain biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area. Boat fishing or drift fishing is the best way to catch fish. The water is Class II flatwater up to about 6 miles below Sunriver, where there are a number of dangerous falls.
Other campgrounds in the area include Bull Bend, Wyeth and McKay Crossing. You may also like La Pine State Park.
