Red Diamond Overview

Red Diamond (Group) Campground can accommodate up to  25 campers and is located next to the South Fork of the McKenzie River.  The rustic campground is also heavily wooded and is also a few miles from Cougar Reservoir.

There are 3 camping areas and a large (gravel) parking area (for 10 vehicles). Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 60 feet). The camping areas have tables, fire rings and grills. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the area.

Red Diamond (Group) Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Hard Rock (Group), Cougar Crossing, Sunnyside, Slide Creek, French Pete and Horse Creek (Group).
