Riley Horse Camp is located northwest of Oregon’s beautiful Mt. Hood and has 14 single-family campsites (11 with corrals) close to Lost Creek and near the Sandy River. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (20 to 35 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, corrals and hitching posts. Utility hookups are not available. Parking surfaces are gravel. Cell service is not available.

Riley Horse Camp Area Recreation

In addition to camping and horseback riding, visitors can enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing.  Trails in the area include the 5.3-mile Cast Creek Trail, the Zigzag Mountain Trail, the 4.9-mile Horseshoe Ridge Trail and the Sandy River Trail.

Other campgrounds in the area include KinnikinnickMcNeil and Lost Creek (Mt. Hood), although neither of these have equestrian facilities.
