Riverford campground has 7 campsites set in a dense forest of Douglas fir along the banks of the Wild & Scenic Clackamas River in the Mt. Hood National Forest. It’s also between Forest road 45 and Forest Road 63 so you may hear a little traffic noise from time to time. Most of the time however, it’s quiet and peaceful.
The campground is first-come, first-serve. Campsites can accommodate tents trailers and small RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include vault toilets. No water is available, so bring your own.
Outdoor activities in the area include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing
Other campgrounds in the area include Shellrock Creek, Riverside, Rainbow and Lake Harriet.
