Rock Creek – Siuslaw Overview

Rock Creek Campground (Siuslaw National Forest) has 14 campsites in a forested setting next to a creek. It’s also about 1/2 mile from a beautiful beach along the Oregon Coast.

Most campsites are right along the creek and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available at the campground.

Other campgrounds in the area include Tillicum Beach, Canal Creek, Alder Dune, Blackberry and Sutton.

Rock Creek Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing (cutthroat and salmon), hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  The beach and a day-use parking area can also be accessed within a half-mile from the campground.

Visitors also enjoy exploring tide pools at Cape Perpetua, and hiking along the area’s trail system. Several paths lead through dense, old-growth forests and to rocky coastal overlooks.
