Shadow Bay Campground Willamette National Forest Oregon

Shadow Bay Overview

Shadow Bay Campground has 92 campsites (21 reservable) and is located at the north end of North Lake in a lower and wetter area than neighboring North Waldo and Islet Campgrounds. As a result, there are a bit more mosquitoes but fewer people that use the campground. Group camping is also available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a picnic/day-use area and boat ramp near the campground. Firewood is available to purchase from the friendly camp host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (18 to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Cell service is not available.

A few other campground in the general area include North Waldo, Rock Creek, Islet, Little Cultus and Quinn River.
