Shellrock Creek campground has 8 campsites set in a dense forest of Douglas fir along the banks of the creek in the Mt. Hood National Forest. You’re going to have no problem falling asleep to the tranquil sounds of the babbling brook next to your campsite.
The campground is first-come, first-serve. Campsites can accommodate tents trailers and small RVs. Campsites 6 and 7 are ‘walk-to’ sites. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include a vault toilet. No water is available, so bring your own.
Outdoor activities in the area include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHVing, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Riverford, Riverside, Rainbow and Lake Harriet.
