Sherwood campground has 14 single-family campsites located along the East Fork of the Hood River in Mt. Hood National Forest. It offers a great basecamp to explore the Mt. Hood area and is close to hiking trails and other recreational locations.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (15 to 35 feet, but most on small side). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. A camp host is there during the peak season and also sells fire wood. Cell service is not available.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Site #6 was an excellent site. Very large for tent camping. Very quiet at night except for the rushing river if on the river side (almost as loud as Hwy30, but constant). Biggest downside was no fresh water on site.
