South – Hosmer Lake Campground has 23 really nice single-family campsites and is located next to Hosmer Lake in the Deschutes National Forest. Campsites are large and about half are pull through. Most also have nice privacy by stands of lodgepole pine.
Sites can accommodate tents, trailer and RVs (24 to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground has trash collection and vault toilets. No potable water is available. The camp host also sells firewood. Cell service is fair.
Other campgrounds in the area include Mallard Marsh, Little Fawn, Point and Elk Lake. Soda Creek Campground is also nearby.
Outdoor activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Photography is also great, with the campground offering spectacular views of Mt. Bachelor.
Mallard Marsh campground is also nearby.

The map of the campground sites is flipped. It’s completely wrong.
Hi Camper,
Thanks for the heads up. We have removed the map.
We would like to book 2 sites next to each other but without a map not sure which would be the best. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi Sarah,
Our favorite campsites at South Campground are 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 20. Campsites 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are next to each other so I think any of those would be good.
