Sunset Bay State Park Campground is located in a scenic area of the Oregon Coast and has 30 with full hookup, 35 with elctric & water and 66 individual tent sites. There are also 2 group tent areas and 8 yurt campsites available. The campground has a drinking water, hot showers ($) and flush toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.

Sunset Bay State Park – Area Recreation

The campground is just a short walk to the beach and hiking trails. Visitors and campers can enjoy beach combing, surf fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, biking and wildlife viewing. There’s also a nice public golf course next to the park. The nearby fishing village of Charleston also provides some nice crabbing, clamming and fishing.

Bullards Beach Sate Park is to the south and Bluebill campground is to the north. Both are along the Oregon coast.

    Just FYI…Sunset Bay S.P. does NOT have a DUMP station. Unbelievable for such a large park. Sites are small and crowded. The beach is beautiful.

    we camp here every year for 14 days after Labor Day. Best camping spot is D7 because of size of site.
