Sunset – Lake of the Woods (OR) Overview

Sunset Campground has 64 spacious campsites (57 reservable) and is located next to Lake of the Woods, about 40 miles west of Klamath Falls. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (44 to 56 feet).

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Cell service is good. Nearby, the Lake of the Woods Resort offers dining options, boat rentals, and basic supplies.

Other campgrounds in the area include Aspen Point, Fish Lake, Doe Point, North Fork and Rainbow Bay (group).

Sunset – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area include non-motorized boating, paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
