Tollgate Overview

Tollgate Campground is located just 32 miles southeast of Portland and has 15 single-family campsites along the Zig Zag River. It is also close to many hiking trails in the Mt. Hood area. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Cell service is poor.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Tollgate Area Recreation

The campground is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest and offers a variety of outdoor recreation. Visitors can enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, picnicking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Camp Creek, Pine Point, Still Creek and Trillium Lake.
