Twin Springs Campground Oregon

Twin Springs Overview

Twin Springs 003

Twin Springs campground has 7 primitive single-family campsites location in the high-desert area of the Lower Deschutes River Canyon. Sites are large, and a few are water front. There is no shade at any of the campsites and most have views of the river and soaring canyon walls.

This BLM campground is first-come, first serve and has potable water (one pump) and vault toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. A put-in / launch for rafts and dirt boats is located next to the campground.

Twin Springs – Area Recreation

Fishing is the main attraction in the area, but visitors can also enjoy hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Rafting, kayaking and tubing are also popular with rafters often using the campground on overnight trips. FYI – a ‘boater pass’ is required for all boating or floating in the Lower Deschutes.

Other campgrounds in the Deschutes River Recreation Area include: Beavertail, Jones Canyon and Rattlesnake Canyon.
