Wild Mare Horse Camp Overview

Wild Mare Horse Camp has 12 campsites and is located in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The campground is open year-round for equestrian and non-equestrian campers.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, a picnic area and trash bins. There are also 12 corrals provided. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Showers are available (token operated) at Horsfall Campground.

Area Recreation & Activities

Since the campground is right in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, you’ll have easy access to the dunes and many OHV trails. Other outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking and picnicking. There’s also some nice wildlife viewing here.
