The campground is open early April to mid-October.
Tobyhanna State Park is located at an elevation of 2,000 feet in the scenic Monroe and Wayne counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. This 5,440-acre park features the 170-acre Tobyhanna Lake, which offers great boating and fishing. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, hunting, winter sports, hunting, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.
Be advised, that if you’re out and about in the back-country you may find old, unexploded artillery shells. Because they may pose some danger, please do not touch or attempt to remove.
