Tobyhanna State Park Campground has 140 (mixed-used) campsites set among a nice forest of large trees that offer good shade to most all of the campsites. The campground has modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. Group camping is also available. There are no hookups at this campground. The campground is open early April to mid-October.

Tobyhanna State Park is located at an elevation of 2,000 feet in the scenic Monroe and Wayne counties in northwestern Pennsylvania.  This 5,440-acre park features the 170-acre Tobyhanna Lake, which offers great boating and fishing. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, hunting, winter sports, hunting, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.

Be advised, that if you’re out and about in the back-country you may find old, unexploded artillery shells. Because they may pose some danger, please do not touch or attempt to remove.

Locust Lake State Park and Hickory Run State Park are also in the area. And you might also like Promised Land State Park.
