Trough Creek State Park Overview

Trough Creek State Park Ice Mine

Trough Creek State Park campground has 29 developed campsites(all with electric hookups) and is located close to Get Trough Creek in a heavily wooded area.  There’s also a historic 2-story stone lodge available for rent year-round.

The campground is open mid-April through mid-December. Campsites are large, level and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. The campground also has an amphitheater. Cell service is fair in the area.

Trough Creek State Park – Area Recreation & Info

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, biking, winter sports (cross-country skiing and snowmobiling),  picnicking and wildlife viewing. Raystown Lake Recreation Area is also a few miles away.

    Mowing and care needs done at this park! Have been visiting every wk and cannot see where landscaping is being done.
