Aiken State Park Overview

Aiken State Park Edisto River Access

Aiken State Park Campground has 25 campsites with water & electric hookups and is located next to the South Fork of the Edisto River. Primitive Group camping is also available. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Some sites can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet.

Campground amenities include water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. Wifi is not available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There’s also a park store/gift shop and playground. Cell service is fair for Verizon, but that’s about it.

Aiken State Park – Area Recreation

Popular outdoor activities include fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the South Edisto River. Visitors can also enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, picnicking, horeshoes, geocaching and wildlife viewing.

You may also like Dreher Island State Park to the north (by Columbia), or Barnwell State Park.
