What’s up with the campsite numbers?
Hi George,
Baker Creek State Park has two campgrounds (camping areas) located along the shores of Strom Thurmond Lake. Campground 1 sites 1-50 (34 sites reservable), and Campground 2 has sites 51-100 (pictures here). Campsites have electric & water hookups and accommodate RVs up to 40 feet, others up to 30 feet. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
The pictures are of sites 51-100 but when you go to reserve a site it shows sites 1-50 with no pictures.
Hi George,
We hope to get pictures of the other campsites later this year.
Bakers Creek State Park does not have two campgrounds – there is only one. The pictures your site has are the campground sites, but your numbers are totally wrong. Please correct, as this is not helpful at all. Thank you.
Thanks Marcy,
Looks like they redid the campground since we took photos. We’ve made the changes/corrections to the copy and will get new photos later this year.
