Huntington Beach State Park Comments & Reviews
Visited Huntington Beach State Park Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Huntington Beach State Park?
Worst state park I have ever been to. I would not recommend Huntington Beach to anyone looking for a nice vacation with family. It is dirty, crowded and overpriced.
We ONLY stay there to go to Brookgreen, new sites with 50 amp
So small we couldn’t put out chairs, so close we didn’t play stereo. You have to walk in street or thru other’s sites. An expensive parking lot! So disappointed.
Great place stayed 2 weeks during Christmas quite and relaxing area. Going back this year for 2 weeks of Christmas.
This state park has a North and a South Campground. The south campground is level full hookup spots that are close but easy with lots of concrete. The north campground has lots of trees and some very huge semi-private lots. Very lovely but just depends what you are looking for. Personally I love the North campground. Most all sites are roomy, semi private and perfect for furbabies! Only a few sites are full hook up on this side though. There are two large well maintained bathhouses. Very nice state park and I would definitely return!
We love this campground. We visit yearly near end of April before it gets to hot for us to enjoy. The campground is very clean and well maintained. We prefer the North end of campground because South end they have them stacked in like pancakes and they are very close together, but with that being said, South end all sites have full hookups. I like feeling we are in woods camping and the north end gives you that atmosphere. They also have handicap access to beach which is nice for those who need it. I highly recommend this campground.
We stayed in a tent for one night at the north section. Woods behind us and loved the privacy. Pathways through the woods to the beach. Absolutely beautiful.❤️ Lots to do here. Bathhouse was super clean. Making plans to go back soon!
