Lake Hartwell State Park Campground is located next to Lake Hartwell and has 116 single-family (mixed-used) campsites with water & electric hookups. Most campsites are large and have nice shade. Group camping and cabins are also available for rent.
The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a camp store, trash collection, dump station and laundry facilities. In addition to water & electric hookups, each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
The Park is popular for boating, fishing and water sports. A boat ramp is available with lake access. Other outdoor fun includes canoeing, kayaking, swimming, biking, hiking, basketball and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.
Tugaloo State Park is just 12 miles away and has 116 campsites. Sadlers Creek State Park is also located on Lake Hartwell and has 52 campsites.
