Sesquicentennial State Park Campground has 84 campsites (aka “Sesqui”) with water & electric hookups and is located near Columbia in a spacious park setting of the Sandhills region. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30 to 35 feet) . Each campsite also has water & electric hookups, a table, fire ring and grate.  Four campsites have tent pads. Primitive group camping is also available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, lake (no ramp), park store/gift shop, sand volleyball court, softball field, splash pad and dog park. Wifi is not available.

Sesquicentennial State Park – Recreation

Visitors can enjoy hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating (electric trolling or paddle), canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Fishing boat, kayak and canoe rentals are also available. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are also popular.

  1. Not recommended. The sites are small, uneven and packed together. We had to park at an angle to ensure we wouldn’t slide into the woods. Site #39. We have a popup. Bathhouse is small only two showers not very well maintained.
