Boxedler Forks Campground has 14 campsites along Boxelder Creek and in a forest of Ponderosa pines. The town of Nemo is also nearby.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. The campground is generally open mid May to early September. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Dalton Lake, Roubaix Lake, Pactola Reservoir, Bear Gulch, Sheridan Lake, Dutchman and Whitetail.
The campground offers easy access to both motorized and non-motorized recreation. The Centennial Trail is just 1 mile east of the campground and serves as a beautiful host for hiking, biking, horseback riding and motorized recreation. Dozens of miles of OHV trails are in close proximity to the campground.
Boxelder Creek also offers access to fishing for Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout. The surrounding forest hosts a variety of wildlife including: elk, deer, squirrels and a host of birds species.
