Hi Michele,
The crew at CampsitePhotos.com isn’t quite sure where the closest dump station is to Horsethief Lake Black Hills National Forest campground. You may try calling the campground directly to ask: 605-673-9200
Do you have cabins to rent? We are coming in April and will just be driving our van. Thank you.

Are you allowed to camp at Horsethief Lake prior to the Peak Season opening date of May 19th 2021? If so, is it first come first serve or are reservations required in the off season? We’re interested in coming around May 2nd.
Regards,
Lauren
Hi Lauren, Not sure if camping is allowed before the opening date. I recommend you call the Forest Service office to double check: 605-673-9200
