Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area campground is located on the shores of Lake Yankton and has three camping areas with a total of 409 campsites. Many of the sites have electric hookups and 17 cabins are also available to rent. Group and equestrian campsites are also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a marina, boat ramp, concession stands, playground and other facilities.
The Park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including fishing, water-skiing, boating, sailing, swimming, ATVing, archery, disc golf, hiking, horseback riding, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the winter.
