Cades Cove Group Overview

Cades Cove Group Campground has 4 group campsites and is located in Great Smoky Mountains National Park offering some of the best recreational opportunities in the park.

Group sites 1 and 2 can accommodate up to 20 people and 4 vehicles. Group sites 3 and 4 can handle up to 30 people and 7 vehicles. All sites are for tent camping. The vehicle parking area is about 100 feet from the group camp sites. EAch site also has tables, a fire ring/grill, and tent camping areas. Generators are not allowed.

Campground amenities include a store, drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. There is also a nice picnic area adjacent to Green Branch creek. The campground offers easy access to many wilderness areas trails. A general store is also nearby.

Cades Cove Campground also has 159 single family campsites. Other campgrounds in the area include Anthony Creek Horse Camp, Abrams Creek and Look Rock.

Cades Cove Group Campground – Area Recreation

The Park is the most visited in the United States with 8-10 million enjoying the many outdoor recreational activities in the area. Some of the outdoor recreation opportunities at Great Smoky Mountains National Park include auto touring, bicycling, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking. There are also many historic sites and buildings you can explore in the area.
