First of all, I Love tent camping and hiking. This campground is rustic but not bad. Hiking is good.
The note of “Best Sites” is questionable.
But site #14 completely floods when it rains! A steady rain will put the firepit under water. A hard rain will flood the rest of the site other than where you park. Campers beware!

  3. Heather says:

Tent camped in April, site #2, 4 nights. Decent campground, well maintained, plenty of space for tents. Did not see any raccoons. Rained all night the first night, but had no issues. This site is a bit of a walk from the restrooms. Not much vegetation between sites, so not very private. The bathroom could really use a shelf or hooks or something above the sink, and more than one shower, but shower wasn’t bad. The hiking here is amazing. Fiery Gizzard trail and the short hike down to Foster Falls all well worth doing, but trails are challenging, not the best for novice hikers.
