Meriwether Lewis campground has 32 campsites (mostly good for tent camping) and is located at Milepost 395.9 along the Natchez Trace Parkway.
The campground is first-come, first serve and campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. There are no hookups, but each site has a table, fire ring and grate. Most sites also have nice shade from large trees. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault & flush toilets.
Outdoor recreation in the general area includes hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There are also several historic sites you can visit.
You may also like Rocky Springs campground (at Milepost 54), or David Crockett State Park.
