Natchez Trace State Park campground has 208 campsites in 5 different areas with access to 4 lakes and 48,000 acres of outdoor recreation.
Pin Oak campground has 77 campsites (full hookups) and is on the shore of Pin Oak Lake. It can accommodated RVs up to 80 feet and the campground has a dump station. All campsites have a table fire ring and grate.
Cub Lake Camp 1 has 23 campsites with water and electric hookups. It can accommodate trailers, and RVs (up to 25 feet). This campground is open seasonally and has a dump station. All campsites have a table, fire ring and grate.
Cub Lake Camp 2 has 46 campsites (no hookups) for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 20 feet). The campground has a dump station. Each site has a table, fire ring and grate.
There are also four backcountry campsites and an equestrian campground (Wrangler Camp). Wrangler Camp has 62 campsites with water and electric hookups and a dump station. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grate, pedestal BBQ, lantern holder, water and posts to picket horses.
The park includes about 48,000 acres and is a fantastic place to relax and explore the great outdoors. Visitors can enjoy 4 lakes, boating (boat rentals available), fishing, water sports, a swimming beach, cabins, group lodge, picnicking area, playground, sports fields (tennis, softball, basketball, volleyball, etc.), playgrounds, a pistol shooting range, an archery range, 250 miles of equestrian trails, miles of hiking and biking trails, a camp store, restaurant and 47-room resort.
There is also a free public swim beach located at Cub Lake, and the Pine Oak Campground has a swimming beach only for campers.
Meriwether Lewis is another nice campground to consider. It’s on the Natchez Trace Parkway and has 32 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs.

Stayed in campsite 13 in April 2012 in our 20×10 tent. Had a wonderful time. Rangers were fabulous and visible. Great family park with swimming, fishing, hiking and close enough to small convenience store for ice and such. Highly recommend.
MY WIFE AND I ARE PLANNING TO GO TO NACHES TRACE STATE PARK IN OCTOBER OR NOVEMBER FOR A TENT CAMPING AND FISHING VACATION (FOR A WEEK OR TWO). WOULD YOU BE SO KIND AS TO SEND US SOME INFORMATION?? IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Is there a swimming beach where the RV camping is? And…is there a senior discount?

For Natchez Trace State Park – Tennessee seniors (62 and older) may receive a 25% discount on standard camping fees during in-season, and 50% discount during the off season. Senior discounts are not available on premium sites.
There is also a free public swim beach located at Cub Lake, and the Pine Oak Campground has a swimming beach only for campers.
