Ragland Bottom Campground has 57 campsites and is located on the shores of scenic Center Hill Lake on central Tennessee’s Highland Rim. There are 40 sites with water and electric hookups and 16 (primitive) tent sites. large group day-use picnic area is available as well, with water and 15-amp electric hookups.
The campground is generally open mid April to early November. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, laundry facilities, a dump station and trash collection. Cell service is fair in the area. There’s also a boat ramp, boat trailer parking lot, fish cleaning station, a picnic / day-use area, playground, swim beach, volleyball courts, basketball courts and mixed use trails.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 40 sites with water & electric hookups. Each site also has a parking spur (ranging in size from 50 to 92 feet), table, lantern post, BBQ pedestal, fire ring and grill.
Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Center Hill Lake is surrounded by lush mixed hardwood forests in the hilly Highland Rim region. Whitetail deer, wild turkey, squirrels and rabbits roam the wooded hills in the area. There is also 9 miles of hiking trails that meander around the lake. The Lost Springs Trail loops for two miles above the campground and Hurricane Marina.
Other campgrounds in the area include Hurricane Bridge, Floating Mill Park and Long Branch.
