Rushing Creek Overview
Rushing Creek campground has 56 sites single-family campsites and is located on the eastern shore of Kentucky Lake. There are 18 tent sites and 38 tent/RV sites with no hook-ups. TheĀ campground is first-come, first-serve. There are actually two campground areas, one on the banks of Rushing Creek and the other on Jones Creek.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and showers.

Rushing Creek – Area Recreation
The area offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking and many more activities. The variety of trees also provide an excellent display of color in the fall.
