Standing Stone State Park has 36 single-family campsites (all with water & electric hookups). The campground is located in a wooded area above Mill Creek on the Cumberland Plateau. Seventeen cabins (including 3 group) are also available to rent. The park takes its name from a 12-foot-tall rock standing upright on a sandstone ledge. Standing Stone Lake is also near the campground.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 45 feet). Each site has 20/30/50-amp electric hookups, water hookups, a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, trash collection and a dump station. WiFi is also available and cell service is fair. The park also has a day-use picnic area, volleyball court, large swimming pool, snack bar, gift shop, tennis courts, basketball court and group pavilion.
Outdoor recreation includes boating (rentals available), canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, basketball, marbles, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Please note that kayaks and canoes are the only private boats allowed on the lake.
